This last Thursday evening, May 7, my good neighbour, Joe Homontowski, brought over a rotortiller he had borrowed, and tilled my garden through for me. He also dug up the other side of the path to make a new garden. I expect to plant mainly potatoes there. We'll see.

Here's some photos to show how Joe broke the raw, tough old lawn to give me what I desired.

At dusk he was finished, but Joe had really worked hard, going back and forth in that distance from the front of my car.



The next morning we had another snowfall!

It melted later that day, of course, but...you see, it pays to wait until Victoria Day to plant the garden around here. We never know when winter will make a flirting re-visit.

Hopefully, I'll have time for more photo stories throughout this summer, so you can see it when both sides of the path are filled with lush greenry of vegetables and flowers.
